Ubuntu Live Stats beta!

After a couple of months of playing around with the idea in my head, looking for sources of information, and scratching my head on how to parse them, it’s finally out.

The project wasn’t much more then an idea and some scribbled code until Felipe Lerena came on board to do the heavy lifting.

Anyway, it still needs much work, but I feel it’s at a stage that I can present it to a more broader and bigger audience.

The initial idea behind this is to show the enormous movement Ubuntu has on all fronts, and I hope to extend it into much more deeper and comprehensive long term statistics.

We are of course using Launchpad to track bugs and feature requests, so please report any bugs you might find.

Ubuntu in a Comic

I’ve arrived yesterday to Edinburgh for Debconf7 (lovely city by the way), and passed through Madrid two days.

Dario Minnucci over there scanned a comic they saw in a magazine which I thought would be interesting to some of you..

Debconf, here I come

Tomorrow I’ll be starting my trip towards Debconf7 in Edinburgh, hopping a few days through Madrid, and finally arriving there the 9th. I’m excited to be there, specially since next year it’s going to be in Argentina, so I’ll be a local 😀

I know many Ubunteros are going to be there too, and I’d love to meet any of you, so if you’re going, drop me a line!

I’m hoping to dedicate a big amount of time to polishing my packaging skills and start helping out in that area of open source as well.
